Soho House Berlin is a private members’ club with 40 bedrooms. Set over eight floors of a restored Bauhaus building in the Mitte district, Soho House Berlin includes a full Cowshed Spa and gym, a rooftop pool, restaurants, bars, a screening room and a private dining area as well as 40 comfortable bedrooms.
Originally opened in 1928 as a department store, the property was seized by the wartime government before being occupied by the post-war, Communist regime until 1956. It was then used to house the Communist Party archives and the Central Committee’s Historical Institution. After German reunification the building was legally returned to the descendents of its original owners, but has remained derelict until now.
Fine Dining on Site
The Club Floor is built around a central bar, with the House Kitchen located to one side and the sitting room to the other. A black and white tiled floor runs throughout the House Kitchen, with parquet tiling over the rest of the floor. The restaurant seats 50 and is furnished with chunky metal tables and red kitchen chairs, while the sitting room features a mixture of oversized sofas, banquette seating and comfortable chairs. Two fireplaces sit either side of the bar, which is decorated throughout with chandelier lighting.

The Cowshed is separated into two generous areas – Cowshed Relax and Cowshed Active. While the Active Area can only used by Soho House members, it is afford that non-members use the Relax Spa Area. Cowshed Relax Spa is a place to meet friends, eat, drink and shop as well as indulge in sociable grooming. We offer facials and body treatments, as well as manicures and pedicures, all tailored to your personal needs. The Spa is home to four comfy mani-pedi chairs, private treatment rooms, relaxation pods, a sauna, steam room and a spacious Hamam, complete with basins and a fountain.
