A 16th century chateau, transformed into a chateau-hotel, in the centre of a 60 hectare park, between Versailles and Chartres, to the South-West of Paris. An old residence of the Rochefoucauld family, Chateau Desclimont is a romantic stop less than one hour from Paris, between the Chateau de Versailles and the cathedral of Chartres. The interiors are superb examples of renaissance elegance where the old and the new coexist very comfortably. The restaurant is in 18th century style and can seat a total of 50 people. Its classical cuisine is adapted to today's tastes and to the subtle flavours provided by natural products. The estate provides an array of sporting facilities including one of the most romantic settings for a swimming pool imaginable.
