Already in 1551 the convent appeared as one of the architectural emergencies in the whole "Trident", with its three important roads via del Babbuino, via Del Corso and via Di Ripetta. In 1675 the Pope Innocenzo XI confered to the priest Francesco Paparetti some locals in via di Ripetta to found a safe place for homeless girls.
